already a DVD available for this film, but it's about 7000 yen for a 40
minute film, so quite expensive. There's no English subs on it either, but
to be honest, the film doesn't really need them.<BR><BR>There's a huge
amount of info aboutTakahata coming up in the forthcoming Midnight Eye book,
but you'll have to wait till this Fall before it hits the streets - lots of
info about what Takahata and Miyazaki were up to before Ghibli, and their
collaborations in the 60s. Takahata actually directed some stuff for TV
within Toei after being demoted due to Prince Hols.<BR><BR>Jasper
