<DIV>Unusually, the Pordenone programme doesn't give an exact release date, only a month, March 1930. The whole thing looked coherent though and as if designed to be a feature release. The film struck me as a bit dull but it was a pleasure to compare my Heisei-era experience of Tokyo with this record of its early Showa-era appearance.</DIV>
