Hello, my name is Jed Rapfogel, I've worked for several years at Anthology Film Archives in New York City, and have recently become involved in the programming. I've been writing film criticism for several years as well, and have written reviews and articles on Oshima, Shinji Aoyama, and Kiyoshi Kurosawa among others. As a binge filmgoer, I'm still reeling from this past fall's embarassment of riches, thanks to the Film Society's series devoted to Shochiku, the extensive series at MoMA of films from Tokyo's National Film Center, a short Mizoguchi retro at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and, best of all, Film Forum's Naruse retrospective. Looking forward to taking part in the discussions on this list.
