Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for advertising for Trafic last issue ! As you said this "tokushû" consists in three parts :

- Yoshida's "Kaze ni hatameku hankachi, ichimai no puromaidu shashin", written in 1988, a beautiful piece of autobiography, back to his childhood in Fukui and the way he discovered cinema.
- Hasumi's "Kage to Fikushonn", about Yoshida last three movies, Ningen no yakusoku, Arashigaoka and Kagami no onnatachi. The text appeared in 2003 in the Eureka tokushû, where you will be able to find Yoshida's text as well.
- for my contribution, apart from these translations I made with the help of Terutarô Osanai (whose name I wanted to mention), "L'Erotique de Kijû Yoshida" is in fact the fully expanded version of what I had the pleasure to talk about in Frankfurt in 2007.

Thanks again and, if I may quote from your last mail, happy reading.

Mathieu Capel
Paris
