<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><DIV><FONT face=Arial>I'm doing this from memory, so could be completely wrong, but in <EM>Kohayagawa-ke no aki / End of Summer</EM>, 1961, didn't the plot involve dozens of journeys between Osaka and Kyoto, whilst the screen showed almost a complete absence of trains ?&nbsp; Would that be a planned absence, or could it have anything to do with it being a rare non-Shochiku film ?&nbsp; Were there any company tie-ups about filming on the tracks ?</FONT></DIV>
