As a follow-up to my message on the 1936 musical, Hodo no
Sasayaki, I just came across the information that in 2006, the Pacific Film
Archive received a grant of $12,500 from the National Endowment of the Arts to
produce a DVD of the film. Does anyone here know what became of that project? I
can find no evidence that the film is currently available for purchase on
DVD.
