Through their transnational and transcultural film works a new style and new world of imagination is emerging. The filmmakers are two male directors from Malaysia and Singapore (Lim Kah Wai and Edmund Yeo) and a female director -Andrijana Cvetkovik from Macedonia, who is currently a Visiting Professor at Kyoto University (CIAS) conducting a research on the representation of Japan and Japanese in contemporary East Asian cinema. </span><br></div><div style="font-family: 'lucida console',
