pasts: Kyoko slept with her boss in order to provide a better life
for her family, but was instead shunned and driven from her home.
Shuichi committed an unspeakable crime, but is now working in a Tokyo
factory as he studies for college entrance exams. As they attempt to
forge new lives from the debris of their old ones, Kyoko and
Shuichi’s hometown is devastated in the 3/11 Tohoku earthquake and
