</blockquote><br></div><div>There were some criticisms of Dare mo shiranai, but the ones I read (in Eiga geijutsu, etc.), had more to do with how Koreeda was fudging with reality while still advertising it as "based on a true story." It was not about problems in the representation of such abandoned children or the services that do or don't take care of them. </div>
