<div> </div>
<div>The NPO Hattaraku Bunka Netto gave me permission to post a link to a pdf of a book they produced that selects one hundred films from Japanese film history related to labor issues. The title is 『日本の労働映画百選』("Selection of one hundred labor films from Japan").</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The book has brief but pretty informative entries on each of the films. They cast a wide net with super-independent films such as the 20-minute documentary "Mayday 1952" (Mayday Eiga Seisakuiinkai, 1952) included as much as blockbusters like Kurobe no Taiyō (Kumai Kei, 1968).</div>

<div>It's a great reference to have- and the 300 printed versions are apparently very difficult to get your hands on. Check it out!</div>
