<div dir="ltr">I'm sorry to announce to the Kinema Club community that our colleague Kota Inoue passed away on Wednesday. He was driving in southern Idaho when his car drifted over the center line and side-swept a large truck. He died in the hospital from his injuries. I first met Kota at Kinema Club II in Hawaii in 2003. At the time he was a graduate student at Irvine. After graduating, he worked at Irvine and then landed at Washington State University, where he taught Japanese literature and film. He's been working on a book about the emergence of the modern suburb and colonialism. This is horribly sad news. <div class="gmail_extra"><div class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div style="font-size:small">
