Matsuda Masao wrote a long, critical article on the film in Eiga hyoron 1967.10 in which he mentions that it's released that year. According to my notes, he found the film insufficiently Trotskyist! He also mentioned in May 1968 that one of the radical Trotskyist student groups had arranged a screening, which he thought was ridiculous. </span>Allcinema says that </span><span style="font-family:"MS Mincho"" id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98583" lang="ZH-CN">怒りのキューバ</span><span style="font-family:Arial" id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98584"> had a theatrical release at or thru ‘Herald’.<span id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98585"> </span>I’m guessing that’s connected to the independent
cinema in </span><span style="font-family:Arial" id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98586">Nagoya</span><span style="font-family:Arial" id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98587"> in its heyday.</span></div>

films to Japan, it makes an interesting turnaround for Japan to be over 20

</span>1968, of course, was a highly influential year.<span id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98595"> </span>Even before I’d gleaned these few facts, I
noticed the family resemblance of the student demo scenes in <i id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98596">Soy Cuba</i> to
later ones, for example, in the early Ogawa Pro films.<span id="m_6447908743037005793yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1483088809060_98597"> </span>That, needless to say, doesn’t prove any
