of the</span><span style="color:black"> National Diet Library<span lang="JA">’</span>s service providing access to digital collections to registered libraries, including those outside Japan. R</span><span style="font-family:"calibri",sans-serif;color:black">egistered
libraries <em><span style="font-family:"calibri",sans-serif">in Japan </span></em>have
been offered this service since 2014. If the new recommendations are
enacted a wealth of NDL digital materials would become accessible to
users in registered libraries
