posting about ‘Nippon Connection’.</span></div>

<div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177034"><span style="font-family:Arial" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177035">First, it should be said
that nearly all the films have english subtitles.</span></div>
<div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177036"><span style="font-family:Arial" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177037">Secondly, my singling out, the
anime ‘In This Corner of the World’, carried an implication of english
subtitling whereas it is one of the few with german subtitles only.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177038"> </span>The same applies to the live action, ‘I Am a
Hero’.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177039"> </span>Both are adaptations of manga
which have been translated into german but published in </span><span style="font-family:Arial" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177040">Germany</span><span style="font-family:Arial" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177041"> with english titles. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177042"> </span>Hence, no doubt, sufficient popularity to
warrant specific german subtitling.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177043"> </span>But
it is a pitfall for the unwary. ‘Shin Godzilla’ and ‘Tony Takitani’ also come
with german-only subtitles.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1495539314239_177044"> </span>‘A Silent
Voice’ is with hard-of-hearing english subtitles.</span></div>

where some pedant takes writers to task for omitting information on

the anime, ‘In this Corner of the World’, of which I have read nothing but

unknown, there’s also a genuinely witty contemporary play, screened as a staged
