 presenters and / or a discussant for a panel on East Asian visual media for the
 2018 ASCJ conference (International Christian University, Tokyo, June 
30-July 1, proposal deadline Oct. 15). Our current focus is on 
mockumentary / found footage media, particularly in the realm of horror films and horror media ("true" ghost stories, internet 
legends like the "red room," found footage horror films and TV shows, 
depictions of real places and events in horror media). We welcome
