cleanup. We will lunch on free pizza followed by raking satisfyingly
crunchy leaves away. Transportation will be coordinated with the
Yale Shuttle leaving from Wall Street at 12:30pm, or meet us at the
park at 1:00pm.

The Yale Hindu Students Council and Chaplain’s Office are hosting
the 12th Annual Diwali Pooja. Diwali, also known as the Festival of
Lights, is celebrated throughout India. We as Graduate and
Professional Students will be attending together with a short 10
minute introductory talk about the traditions and history of Diwali!
Meet us at the front of HGS for our talk at 6:15pm. We will then
walk over to Commons together. The Diwali celebration will begin
with a 45 minute worship service led by the Hindu Student Council
Board. It will be followed by lighting sparklers on Beinecke Plaza
and a traditional Indian dinner. The event is free however seating
is limited; this event sells out every year. We ask that if you RSVP
that you are certain that you will be able to attend.

Payne Whitney Gym is looking to hire a Front Lobby Desk Attendant.
Attendant will monitor gym access at front desk and provide front
line customer service. Attendant is responsible for answering the
phone and maintaining the towel laundering and distribution system.
The job requires the attendant to learn the computer system to
maintain student ID cards, to able to provide information about the
gym and its membership services, and to dependable and reliable.

Payne Whitney Gym is looking to hire a Fitness Center Attendant.
Attendant will greet all patrons entering and exiting facility,
offer aid and assistance to all FC patrons. The job applicant must
be able to lift 50 lbs., and Fir Aid/AED/CPR qualified applicants
are preferred, but non-certified applicants will be trained if
necessary. Attendants must be able to enforce rules and inform
patrons in a professional manner and must have exceptional customer
service skills. Seeking an applicant to work Monday through Friday,
12pm-8pm and all hours on weekends. Compensation: $12.75/hour.
