Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements

July 5, 2010

To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:

1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments;and
write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject: Looking for Yiddish activities near Miami Beach on next
June-July .
Dear Mendelianer,

We both were born in Uruguay and are very active in our Ashkenazy Kehila
Yiddish Club . We'll be in Miami only for a few days, ( before and after
boarding a Cruise) , next Saturday June 26th and next July from Sunday
4th up to Thursday 7th .I have been looking in the internet for any
Yiddish activity near Miami Beach for this dates, perhaps klezmer music /
Yiddish theater / Club or Open air Yiddish meeting , that we could attend
while beeing there .
Perhaps nothing will happen in Yiddish in the middle of the summer in
that neighboorhood , or may be I don' t know where to look in the
internet.

Does anybody know about any scheduled Yiddish event near Miami Beach for
those days ?

Thanks for your help.
Esther Cukierman
