Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements
June 26, 2012
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or
attachments;and write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice,
*not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Death date of Israeli Yiddish writer Malasha Mali
Does anyone know in what year the writer Malasha Mali died (if she has
died). She was born in 1921 in Lodz, made aliyah and probably died in
Israel. She published the books Geviter and Tsvey Veltn. As far as I
can tell she was still alive in 1991. Thanks, Sheva Z
