Mendele Personal Notices and Announcements

Oct. 8, 2012

To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:

1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.

2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding,or

attachments;and write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.

3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject: Yiddish-language anti-Christian polemics

Tayere Mendelyaner,

I am doing a project on anti-Christian polemical literature written in
Yiddish across time and space (not limited to any particular period or
region). Likewise, I am interested in studying the anti-Christian
content of the Yiddish language itself (its expressions, imagery,
lexical selectivity, etc.). Any references to primary or secondary
literature on either topic would be very much appreciated. Thanks so
much in advance!

A gutn moyed,
