in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, NCAI leadership announced the creation of
the National Congress of American Indians Youth Commission Ambassador Leadership
Program (ALP). The ALP is a scholarship program open to males and
females aged 17-25. The ambassadors, one male and one female, will
serve a two year term leading the NCAI Youth Commission in its meetings
and functions and will represent the NCAI youth when their presence is
requested. </font>

2006 Annual Convention in Sacramento, California on October 3, 2006. Applicants

and must be a full time student at the high school, college or graduate
