<DIV><BR>JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include researching, developing, and
presenting curriculum regarding specialized areas such as Cherokee history
classes and leadership development.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree from a college or university in
History, Native American studies, American Studies, Anthropology, a business
management, human resources or training related field or Education with emphasis
in one of the above listed areas; no substitutions. An additional two years
teaching and/or research experience is required. Must possess a valid driver's
license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that
meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must have a
certificate of completion of the Cherokee Nation history course. Must have the
ability to analyze and present historical events and issues from a variety of
viewpoints, be able to apply critical thought and to develop the critical
thinking skills of students in relation to materials presented. Prefer
facilitation training. Must be able to operate computers and possess Internet
research skills. Must also be able to read, analyze and interpret academic and
business journals and periodicals, monographs, ethnographies and ethnohistories,
develop syllabi, effectively present information and respond to questions from
students, tribal employees, and the general public</DIV>
