At this year's Geological Association of Canada-Mineralogical Association
of Canada Annual Meeting  (Sudbury, Ontario, May 26-28, 1999), there are
several paleontology-related sessions (listed below).

General Sessions:
	GS9 Paleontology, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy.
Symposia:
	SY5 Impact Events andExtinctions (In Honour of Glen Caldwell), Part
I and II.
Workshops:
	WS1 Upper Ordovician (Blackriveran and Trentonian) Strata of the
St. Lawrence
	Platform: Baseline Correlations, Role of Tectonics, and
Paleoenvironmental
	Reconstructions, Part I and II.

In May, 2001 the GAC-MAC Annual Meeting will take place in St. John's,
Newfoundand. Since 2001 is the first year of the new millennium, we would
appreciate any ideas people might have for paleontology-related fieldtrips,
general/special sessions, symposia or workshops.
