Victoria Purewal, Dept. of Biodiversity and Systematic Biology, National Museum and Galleries of Wales presented a talk entitled "The Analysis and Detection of Hazardous Pesticide Residues Present on Herbarium Material" at this year's SPNHC meeting in Washington.  I would try contacting her.
