[NHCOLL-L:640] polystyrene

I was recently told that polystyrene is no longer considered archival (in
the sense that polyethylene is).  Does anyone have information or
references to the archival stability or lack thereof concerning
ploystyrene?  Has anyone had problems with polystyrene used as a
specimen container? Thanks in advance for any info.
