Hi Susan, I don't know of any Canadian suppliers but we purchase monel
wire from U.S. Airmotive in Florida (P.O. Box 522514, Miami, FL 33152; 
305-885-4991; ask for Bernie). They also have offices in California and
Singapore. The wire comes in one- and five-pound spools and ranges from 16
to 23 gauge. A one-pound spool of 20 gauge (P/N 370-MS20995NC32-1; 
equivalent to .032 inch diam.) costs $16.82 (U.S.) And for what it's worth
their prices haven't increased in the last 7 years I've ordered from them.
