Steve,
I was recently at the Nebraska State Museum. The curator of Parasitology
there has experimented quite a bit with various lids and has concluded
that the best buy is lids made by Qorpak. These come in either a rigid
thermoset green plastic (PTFE) teflon lined lid or a white polypropylene
lid. You can check their web site at www.qorpak.com/products/closures
They also have a very useful glossary of containers and closures
available on line. You should contact the company and have them send you
samples of lids to try out--make sure that they will work on your vials
under the conditions you use them and store them.
