The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training, a unit of the National Park Service, has recently announced that it is encouraging "submission of grant proposals that focus on the protection of cultural resources against acts of terrorism" for its fiscal 2002 grant cycle. The deadline for applications is  FEBRUARY 1, 2002. Due to conditions beyond the Center or National Park Services control their websites are not available.
