Description of Position
Botany or Microbiology or Zoology: Assistant or Associate Professor
to develop and teach science education and teach science courses in home
department; pursue pedagogical scholarship; mentor graduate students;
promote continuing development of the Master of Arts in Teaching program
in biology, as well as other collaborations in science education.
Require: Doctorate in an appropriate scientific discipline or in science
education. For appointment at associate level, require established
record of scholarship. Desire: active scholarship in science education;
bachelor's or master's degree in non-terminal degree field, either
science education or appropriate science discipline. Submit curriculum
vitae, statements of teaching and scholarship goals, e-mail address and
