[NHCOLL-L:2427] purchasing fossil from china

Hi, just wanted to see if anyone can tell me law around purchasing (egg)
fossils from china. What do I have to look for to make sure there not
illegal exports? What question should I ask of the seller about the fossils?
If you have any info on who to talk to or how to tell it would be
appreciated.
