Collections Manager, Herpetology

San Diego Natural History Museum seeks a full-time professional for the 
position of Collections Manager for the Department of Herpetology. 
Responsibilities include the maintenance, improvement, and use of the 
amphibian and reptile collection, environmental monitoring and pest 
management, data entry/editing of catalogue, and the supervision of 
volunteers. Successful candidate will have knowledge of collections 
care and taxonomy, with skills in project management, an attention to 
detail and accuracy, and proficiency in relevant computer programs 
(e.g, Microsoft Access, Specify 4.0, ArcGIS 9.0, and topographic maps). 
M.A/M.S. required. Candidates with Spanish language skills and an 
interest in herpetology preferred.
