The Denver Museum of Nature & Science seeks an education collections manager.  The Museum maintains education collections in geology, paleontology, zoology, anthropology, space sciences, health sciences and museology.    The successful candidate must either have or develop a baseline competency in all of these disciplines.   The person will work with Museum curators to manage the collections, work with Museum education and exhibits staff to facilitate the use of the collections and supervise one staff member and a large team of volunteers.  The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of basic collections management practices and experience managing collections in a museum setting.  Enthusiasm for working with museum volunteers and internal teams is a must.  Self motivation and flexibility are essential.  

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in education, museum studies, or a field related to one of the Museum's core competencies and a minimum of two years experience managing museum collections.   A strong interest in museum-based science and education is a plus.
