[NHCOLL-L:2820] Tourmalines off-gassing?

Hello,
We will be lending two tourmalines for an exhibition shortly and the
borrowing art museum has asked whether the tourmalines would be off-gassing
anything of concern if they were in a closed case. I don't believe
tourmalines off-gas at all, but I felt it would be prudent to check with the
list in the hopes that an individual with a much broader knowledge of
geology would support my assumption.
The two tourmalines being loaned are:
Tourmaline - Elbaite - pink gem XL composite green dark terminations
Tourmaline - Two carved tourmaline birds
