Thanks to everyone who sent information and references. The anecdotal and documented incidents of damage to cabinets and as an irritant to people have been helpful. The curator and I are installing pheromone traps in the collections and shifting some of our volunteers from working on birds to beetles to help monitor for infestations. We have some changes in the housekeeping planned for the next month to see if we can determine what level problem we may have.
