If you live in the U.S., may I quote a newspaper paragraph that I keep  
posted on my bulletin board above my desk:
 
"If you receive scam e-mails, report it to the FTC. Simply forward the  
e-mail to spamuce.gov.  If you've been taken in by such a scam, file a  complaint 
at www.ftc.gov"
 
I's sure that other countries have a comparable address.
