[NHCOLL-L:3012] Conservation of Blaschka glass models

Dear colleagues,

Some of you may remember my post last year about glass models of
marine invertebrates from an orphaned collection. Thanks to your
responses, we were able to move the specimens with almost no breakage
(I have photos of how we 'packed' them for transport, if anyone needs
that information )and we have about 150 of them now, in varying
condition. However, we are now in need of a glass conservator,
preferably one with experience with the Blaschka marine invertebrate
models (the Harvard glass flower collection is somewhat different in
composition and from what I understand, has different conservation
needs). If anyone, particularly from collections that have these
models, has any recommendations, please contact me off-list.
