The University of Kansas Biodiversity Institute seeks a full-time Museum Specialist for a 1-year (with possible extension to 2) position in the Division of Herpetology to assist with curation of collections and division support. Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related field and demonstrated experience with/knowledge of: herpetological classification and nomenclature, working with detailed and complex information (such experience might include experience in the care and management of museum collections and associated data), modern PC software, and Specify database.
