Hi,

I was curious to know how many collections out there, that are actively
prepping bird and mammal skins, use tumblers and/or defleshers when
preparing. We are considering purchasing or making them and I was curious
to see what the general consensus is regarding their use. Are they a real
necessity and are specimens better off when these tools are used? Is there
any experience where specimens were damaged regularly with either?

Thanks for your time,
