The Biological Science Technician will concentrate on understanding terrestrial (and aquatic) invertebrate richness within the Park's desert ecosystems. Conducts floral and faunal species surveys in selected riparian habitats, manages spatial and survey data collected,  and develops interpretive programs to educate park visitors. This includes planning and experimental design, field work, citizen science volunteer management, analysis and interpretation of results, data management, and report preparation. Coordination, networking, and developing relationships with other professionals and local community volunteers from academia, agencies and other NPS units is critical to facilitate this program.

Position Location :  Joshua Tree National Park/Twentynine Palms, CA.
