[Nhcoll-l] Apology

On 2012 July 31 I accidentally sent a copy of a personal email to the
NHColl-L.  I want to apologize to all on the list and especially to Scott
Williams, one of my most admired and respected friends and colleagues, for
having done that.

 

I put the NHColl-l address into the cc field so I could copy it into the
body of my email to Scott but then I forgot to delete the address from the
cc before sending it.  One of the lessons is I shouldn't try to sneak in
work while on vacation.  Of course the main lesson is I need to be more
careful about ever, even temporarily, entering a distlist address into any
message not meant for the list.
