iDigBio is a project focused on three key objectives:

*         improve the efficiency and effectiveness of biodiversity digitization,

*         provide a collaboration platform to share information about digitization within the collections community and beyond,

*         create tools and a web portal to enable the integration of specimen data, images, and other important attributes of U.S. museum specimens - from all taxa - in one central source for research and public access

iDigBio produces a monthly eNewsletter under the editorial leadership of Dr. Jill Holliday. June's eNewsletter is displayed below. Each month the eNewsletter summarizes key articles and information from the www.idigbio.org<http://www.idigbio.org> website that we think would be useful and informative for you.

The project is funded by NSF and is coordinated by the University of Florida, FLMNH, and Florida State University. The iDigBio PI is Dr. Larry Page (FLMNH), and coPIs are Dr. Pamela Soltis (FLMNH), Dr. José Fortes (UF ACIS Lab), Dr. Bruce MacFadden (FLMNH), and Dr. Greg Riccardi (FSU).
