[Nhcoll-l] Overexposed Biodiversity Data

Dear All,

I'm wondering if there is a consolidated position among the colleagues
related with the "overexposed biodiversity data" (OBD). I mean, data
available, for instance, in Virtual Herbarium, pointing out precise
location of specimens or populations of endangered species or those with
comercial values (in CITES lists). OBD may also refer to species attributes
that may lead to an specific or generic comercial interest over those
species.

Any thoughts are welcome!

Thanks in advance,

Eduardo
