[Nhcoll-l] SPNHC Annual Conference Update

Dear all,

A brief update on the up and coming annual conference in partnership with the Natural Science Collections Association (NatSCA) and the Geology Curators Groups (GCG). The team have been working hard and the conference is taking great shape.

Registration - Firstly big apologises that we haven't yet opened the registration process. The system has been ready to go for some weeks but we have been hampered by VAT issues and have been waiting for clearance from our finance section. However we should be good to open registration next week.

Programme - updates to the programme and session are available on the website http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/spnhc2014/programme/ including an overview of the key sessions, details on the workshop 'Legal aspects of shipping preserved animals and tissues' and the fieldtrips.

Abstracts - submission details are on the website http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/spnhc2014/submissions/

Accommodation - we have recently added some additional hotel booking options to the website resweb.passkey.com/go/SPNHC2014<https://resweb.passkey.com/go/SPNHC2014> . This has been arrange by Visit Cardiff.
