> The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) will begin issuing VS Form 16-6A, U.S. Veterinary Permit for Importation and Transportation of Controlled Materials and Organisms and Vectors. Form 16-6A no longer requires a signature. These permits are used to authorize the importation or transit through the U.S. of animal products, by-products, and related materials. Using a permit for importation of the described commodity(ies), the permittee acknowledges legal responsibility for compliance with the permit conditions.
