Hello Lynn,

I'm not sure if this information will help, as 2D barcodes are not quite the same as QR codes.

We have some 2D barcodes we ordered (some years ago) that just have our barcode number in them to keep them very small. We also could have had our herbarium name in them.

I don't know where we ordered our barcode reader that reads 1D and 2D barcodes, but it is a Motorola Symbol model that has worked well.

I am working on a project to image an existing herbarium collection for the first time.  I would like to use QR coded lables for these specimens.  Does anyone know where to purchase these lables?  And a QR reader?
