I am currently using HOBO data nodes - a wireless system from Onset  - The ZW series. We have over 50 nodes in 3 different buildings.  And while the system is not without challenges, it has been extremely helpful.  Like Andy, I am using a several models including older stand-alone loggers to help monitor building climate.  The software is easy to use.

Onset did both an article and a podcast about the system with me about the system.

There are all sorts of combinations from simple stand alone units to wireless integrated units etc.  We use them in all of our facilities here for recording temp, humidity and light intensity.  There is software for downloading data and presenting it graphically.

Hello everyone,

I want to establish a data logging system for temperature and relative humidity in the vertebrate paleontological collections at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, so I was wondering with which companies you had good experience. I am looking for a wireless system with a base station so it can start small but is expandable in the future.
