Subject: closure of the Illinois State Museum


Governor Rauner of Illinois has begun the process to close the Illinois State Museum. This closure is likely to be a permanent one. This is a devastating blow to the citizens of Illinois and a terrifying precedent for states with budget crises. The official public commenting period (part of the facility closure process) runs to July 22. Please, e-mail a comment and sign the petition to stop the closure of the Illinois State Museum.
