Hi, all U.S. collections people. If you have not yet provided feedback to
the CSBR review, please do so. NSF provided guidelines here:
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__dbinsfblog.wordpress.com_2016_04_04_csbr-5Fguidance_&d=CwIBaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=CLFZJ3fvGSmDp7xK1dNZfh6uGV_h-8NVlo3fXNoRNzI&m=sVqaLsljSLD5hDhdxZWEgGhtVp69ZmBhVxC6gFE91jQ&s=q6Zauet_9GHv1I6Rru3ue1snzjleqttqdjUqZ7c2Zoc&e=

We've put in feedback from two perspectives, researchers & curators, and
have emailed NSF-funded researchers who've used our collection with a short
piece of boilerplate they can cut and paste:

DBICSBR at nsf.gov

Subject: Feedback regarding the CSBR program

Dear NSF,

I am an NSF-funded researcher, and my work has relied in part on specimens
from natural history collections. At least one of these collections has
been funded by the Collections in Support of Biological Research (CSBR)
program. I urge you to support this program again on an annual basis so
that studies like mine that rely on this research infrastructure can
continue.

Sincerely,

YOUR NAME HERE

Alternatively, if you know NSF-funded researchers who use collections but
not whether any of those collections have received CSBR support:

To: DBICSBR at nsf.gov

Subject: Feedback regarding the CSBR program

Dear colleagues,

I am an NSF-funded researcher, and my work has relied in part on specimens
in natural history collections. I urge you to support the Collections in
Support of Biological Research (CSBR) program again on an annual basis so
that studies like mine that rely on this research infrastructure can
continue.

Sincerely,

YOUR NAME HERE

Best, K.
