Hi Theresa,

We use both Pigma (Sakura) Pens and Faber-Castell PITT pens to aid in labeling. However, you should test what ever pen you are thinking of using for both light fastness and stability - in this case in alcohol. I suggest testing these with every new batch of pens you purchase. Be sure to test with whatever alcohol you use and with water, just to make sure that the dried ink is stable and will not bleed.

Good luck

Subject: [Nhcoll-l] Sakura Pigma pens

Hi

Does anyone have any experience using, or done any tests on Sakura Pigma pens, and found them suitable for writing on labels of specimens in alcohol?

Many thanks
