[Nhcoll-l] Chemicals and osteological specimens/DNA

Hi all,

I'm looking for some references dealing with the effects of the following
chemicals on osteological material, especially when it comes to DNA
recovery:
-Ammonia
-Acetone

The issue with hydrogen peroxide is frequently addressed, but I don't have
much regarding these two. If you have any papers along those lines I would
be very interested to hear about them.
