RE: Important Opportunity for Collections Support

Dear NSC Alliance Members,

The National Science Foundation has asked that we remind the community that funds are available via the Collections in Support Biological Research program administered by the Biological Sciences Directorate’s Division of Biological Infrastructure.

Be aware that the Directorate no longer has hard proposal deadlines.  Applications should be submitted when ready – do not wait for word of a deadline, as it will not be forthcoming!  The sooner applications are submitted in a year the better.  If the Directorate does not receive proposals, it is likely to assume there is a lack of community interest and reduce or eliminate funding.
